Introduction
The Governance Unit was established in 2022 in response to the mandate of the Ministry as it undertook the necessary steps to establish Good Governance not only for the Public Service but for the entire country.
Roles and Responsibilities:
One of the main role and responsibility of Good Governance Unit (GGU) is to establish a framework by which new policies and legislation is developed and implemented which includes the revision of the Belize Constitution
Secondly, the GGU serves as the secretariat to the Peoples Constitution Commission that has undertaken the revision of the Belize Constitution
