Training and Development is integral to the development of the Belize Public Service in fulfilling its mandate and creating a culture of continuous learning and growth. The Training and Development Unit is responsible for Human Resource Training and Development functions within the Belize Public Service.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Training and Development Unit within this Ministry is responsible for Human Resource Training and Development functions within the Belize Public Service, comprising activities concern with:

Training Profiles and Skills Record,
Training Needs Analysis,
Induction Programme Development and Delivery,
Processing Local and Foreign Training and Development Opportunities,
Training and Development Budget,
Monitoring and Evaluation of Training programs
Fostering relationships with relevant stakeholders within the training and development community.

- Full Time Study Leave (100% or 80% salary)
- Part Time Study Leave
- Study Leave without pay

- Study Leave Deferral/ Suspension/ Termination
